It’s snowing quietly this morning. It’s freezing but clam so I wasn’t that cold. The groomed Sawa Course was nicely firm and covered with 10 cm of fresh snow, I could make turns easily.

The gondola were popular in the early morning, so Hilltop got first tracks late. And I headed to HIKAGE A&B where was becoming busy late too. There was about 20 cm of fresh snow on top of the soft bottom. Powder snow made a floating feeling and visitors got excited and shouting with joy.

Visitors from outside Nagano Pref. talked to me, “We always enjoy your reports!”. They said they got to be friends with snowboard. There’re some men but I took photos of only girls…I’m sorry. I’m looking forward to taking photos of your beautiful turns next time!

Soft groomed snow in South and Gezan had 10 cm of fresh powder snow. There were some overseas visitors and students who were practicing for “45th Student Ski Competition IWATAKE” that was going to be held from Feb. 13th (Tue).
