Under the low atmospheric pressure, the strong cold wind was blowing hard. South and Gezan were groomed and had 1 cm fresh snow. But the top was covered with fog so many people were riding slowly.

Less people tried Hilltop which had 10 cm fresh snow on the hard bottom. When I came down to the middle of Sawa Course, the visibility was good and I could make turns comfortably.

The top was still covered with the thick fog when I got there by Sawa Lift. A couple came from Tokyo said, “This is the first time in three years and my girlfriend is new here.” By 9:00 a.m., international visitors gathered around the top of Gondola.

I got into the gas at the last of Gezan Course. Sunny Valley Course was groomed and I could go down fast. The bottom area had light fresh snow about 10 cm but non-groomed steep slope was in a difficult condition with irregular bumps.
