Iwatake/ ◎170cm / Slightly Cloudy2018.Jan.05

18010501_iwatakePale blue sky got covered with clouds. The temperature was -10.8 degrees below zero and it was very cold for long time since the sunlight was weak. At Sawa Course was groomed nicely soft and the edges bit the snow fairly so that I could make turns as I imagined.

18010502_iwatakeSince it was a weekday after New Years Holidays, less people were on a slope in this morning. By the time at 9:00 a.m., people started to ski and snowboard finally. South area which had corduroy patterns was like a private slope for a while.

18010503_iwatakeThe quality of snow was just amazing today. A father and son from Aichi Pref. looked so happy for the beautiful slope. Though the sky was covered with thick and gray clouds, I could still see the ridges of The Northern Alps.

18010504_iwatakeWhite Ribbon Course was groomed at intervals of a grooming car and the other was not groomed. Though I found small bumps on the non-groomed part, I could enjoy skiing comfortably on the long steep course in a good condition.
