In this early morning, I met the owner of “PENGUIN CAFE” in Echoland. PENGUIN CAFE serves authentic coffee brewed by AeroPress and thickly-sliced sandwiches. He said, “We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day from Dec. 23 (Sat)!! Please just drop by our shop for a cup of coffee!”

The slope of East was covered with the beautiful corduroy patterns and it made me very excited. Now, it has enough amount of snow and is groomed well, however, there were only a few people even at around 9:00 a.m. The edges of my skis cut into the soft slopes easily and I could make turns comfortably.

South was also nicely soft and in good condition. I saw people going down with high speed. Although the sides of the course had 6－7cm fresh snow, almost all of people enjoy the groomed slopes with wide turns.

Anyway, the frosted trees were awesome!! Because of the radiative cooling, the temperature was just -6.9 degrees. I was very impressed by the contrast of white trees and the blue sky today.
