Due to cool weather from the last night and snowfall, trees at the top of ski slope were all white with the rime. At the bottom of slope, it snowed weakly, but where we got off the lift, dry snow was falling silently.

There were fogs at the middle part of slope. When it became deep, we couldn’t know where we were. It was impressive that people skiing slowly with talking like “It’s so white…” “Where are we?”.
However, flat slope of well compacted snow was very good to ski with 5 centimeters of powder snow.

It was weekend, so the area with compacted snow soon became full of ski tracks. But the quality of snow was nice, so even after that we could repeat turns freely. At the non-compacted snow area of the side, there was 25~30 centimeters of soft and new snow . When we descend near the 5-sen South station, we had come out the clouds and get clear view.

East was also flat and moderately compacted, so it was good to ski. Today was the third Sunday which is the first day of this season “ski children’s day”. Children under 12 were free to use lift, so there were many families.
