Finally, some slopes are open! 2 slopes (South and East) were available, so almost all visitors who took Gondola went to the southern wide slope, South. 2 snowboarders from Osaka said to us that they opens the new bar “IWATAKE BASE” at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Half of the slope was groomed and it was properly tight at South, so we could take turns many times comfortably. There was a tall bush at the middle part of course, but we had no problem except it. At the opposite half, about 10cm of the snow piled up on non-groomed area, and some people went there.

There had still remained the corduroy patterns even 1 hour after the opening. But the condition of the slope was good, same as South. VIEW C and VIEW D opens tomorrow on Dec 16 (Sat). Today the snow at VIEW C have already groomed.
[East]
The fresh snow which fell 24 hours ago at East was still soft because the temperature kept low. By the way, the original Asakusa soba-noddle restaurant “Sobasuke” is open at 10:00 today at 1F of White Plaza at Village Side!
