It was really cold and the snow fallen on a car was so light even near JR Hakuba Station. The amount of fresh snow was 30－35cm in Hilltop. An expert snowboarder who gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!” went down smoothly in the soft and bumpy slope.

This morning, Kamo4 was open earlier than usual and people skied into DANGAN and SONEZAWA one after another through the frosted trees. The visibility was poor because of the fog and heavy snow, but the snow was fluffy enough to dive without hesitation.

More and more ski tracks were made on the slopes of HIKAGE A and B. Sawa Lift is open at 8:15 a.m. with 5-sen South and 4-sen East, so it is recommended to ski here in the early morning in a powday like today.

A father and his child were also enjoying the powdery snow. After that, I went down to the lower part of Kometsuga Course and there was 20－30cm fresh snow as well. By the way, it started to snow heavily from this dawn, so the groomed slopes were also covered with 15－20cm fresh snow.
