This is last Saturday of this season. “HAKUBA PARADISE SLALOM” was held in North area. This event second time and about 220 people were entered the tournament. There were classes for junior, senior, ladies and mens.

The tournament start from junior class (photo). The tournament is a time race with best time of two race. 1min. 20 sec. for juniors and ladies class, 1min. 15 sec. for mens class were good time for high rank.

There were many corners in the first half of the special course and people were clearing the corners slowly and carefully. The last half of the course was steep and corners were shallow. So some people were falling down.

The run of South area was melting fast and it was soft in the morning. Some bushes and dirt was exposed in Gezan course but it didn’t disturb the skiing. Well, tomorrow will be last day of the season for Hakuba Iwatake Snowfield!
