On sunny days for two days. While there were many thin clouds before the sun, the blue sky spread in the northwestern sky and I could see Hakuba three peaks well. Near the ridgeline of the Northern Alps, snow was being rolled up by strong winds, but at the top of the ski resort, there was only a slight west wind blowing and I did not feel cold.
[Kurobishi slope]
Along the Kurobishi 2nd Quad with wide compacted snow, the powdered snow condition is moderately tight. I was able to repeat the turn I wanted with the edge. There are three lane bumps on the skiers’ left along the Kuroshiki Quad 2 (Kuroishi 3rd Pair side), which is uncompacted with snow.

In the skyline course, the tightness of the snow surface increased a little. The Kitaone No. 3 slope, which is flat and moderately tight, is as slippery as the Kurobishi No. 2 Quad. There is a thin part of snow in the forest course of the non-compacting and hard north ridge, and bushes were scattered on the Sakka slope.
[Kitaone 3rd slope]
The southern route of the Usagidaira slope, where the snow was compacted nicely, was tight and slippery. Looking down, it is shocking that there is almost no snow at the foot even though it is early February. The ski slopes are now accessible by car this season.
