It was a beautiful morning with blue sky. “We enjoy your reports. We’ll first ski down Usagidaira and then go backcoutnry skiing, taking Grat Quad”, four skiers said. Take care!

The opening three slopes were in better condition today as we had snow yesterday. I would say Usagidaira is now perfect again with the bushes all coverd. The whole area was soft nice, including the top and bottom area with big and small bumps (the second photo), and the middle compacted area (the first photo).

The area along Kurobishi No.3 Pair Lift, which was closed all day yesterday, was covered with 10-cm of fresh snow. It was hard with irregular ups and downs and bushes. However, the powder snow on the surface was soft, which made me excited. Powder snow was also amazing at the compacted area along Kurobishi No.2 Quad.

“My ski wear today is new one! Could you take a picture with this beutiful sea of clouds in the background? haha”, a patrolman asked me in the early morning. Thank you for patrolling the slope and keeping us safe everyday! The northern part of Panorama Course was compacted firm, which was nice.
