Happo-one / △75cm / Snowy2019.Dec.12

19121201_happoThe high pressure area was to the west and the low pressure area was to the east, which was typical winter air distribution. It started to rain at the mountain foot and snow at the top before the dawn. Usagidaira Slope, which was non-compacted and hard, was covered with 7-8 cm of heavy fresh snow. Many people went to Kuroboshi Slope after getting off Allen Quad.

19121202_happoThe area along Kuroboshi No.2 Quad was also covered with 7-8 cm of fresh snow. It was flat and nice in the mornings, although it was non-compacted. The fog sometimes got thick and sometimes got clear, but it was okay.

19121203_happo“We thought Happo was the best in the open ski resorts. We’re so excited with this snow!”, three visitors from Toyama said. I also had a chat with visitors from Osaka. “I arrived the day before yesterday. I’ve got season pass this year.”

19121204_happoMy skis ran smoothly at Panorama Course, where the set snow was covered with 2-4 cm of fresh snow. There were ups and downs irregularly at the top and middle area. At the bottom area, bushes and stones were exposed. Snow got weak around 10 a.m. and the northerly wind calmed down.
