Happo One / ◎290cm / Sunny2019.Mar.20

19032001_happoIt was sunny for three straight days and warm before opening of the gondola. The groomed corn snow was melted bit soft at the beginning stage of Riesen Slalom Course in the early morning. Advanced skiers and snowboarders slided down with long turns.

19032002_happoWe could speed up despite the snow melted thick as I skied down. “It’s like a view of the middle of April with ground soil.”, a visitor from Gifu Pref. said on Riesen Quad Lift. Especially the snow at the bottom melted rapidly because of warm last three days.

19032003_happoThere was also corn snow in Usagidaira today, but it was thinner than in Riesen. Five people from Yamanashi said, “We always enjoy your reports! It’s so nice day! We are enjoying the ‘spring snow’!”

19032004_happoIn widely groomed Panorama Course, the corn snow melted 1–2 cm thick. And, ‘Omusubi’, the far end of the photo, was closed for the season on Mar. 16 (Sat.) because of the bad condition.
