Happo One / ◎280cm / Slightly Cloudy2019.Feb.15
Soft sunshine began to come from thin clouds over the sky at 7:10. The cold has moderated from the daytime of Feb. 3rd (Sun.) to the midnight of Feb. 7th (Fri.) and after that, It has been cold and snowed since Feb. 8th (Fri.). Today was the first time in these 4days to see well thanks to no fog in the all slopes.

We should slide down in Riesen Slalom Course in such a good morning. The early stage has been groomed well, so it was good with compacted snow and ‘super’ flat. “It’s really good day!” A lot of people talked to us.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
As sliding down in Riesen, the burn became more compacted but it was still easy to slide down. The boards could run on the flat run well and it was good to turn again and again. Almost all went back using Riesen Quad Lift, so there were few in Nakiyama Slope in the morning.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
But Nakiyama Slope was also good condition with the same amount of snow as the day last year and we could slide down at a high speed on the compacted burn. By the way, “Hakuba Happo One Fire Festival” is going to be held here on Feb. 22th (Fri.). There are so many events, including a torch sliding, Kagamibiraki, treatings, Hakuba Happo Japanese Drumming, a lottery tournament, slope performances and aerial fireworks.
