The weather forecast was wrong and the sky was covered with clouds widely. Sometimes, strong wind blew from the southwest, but we didn’t feel cold. In Usagidaira Slope, the burn of the early stage was hard, so the edge of board was off to the side. But a grooming burn appeared after sliding down a little, so we could enjoy skiing at a high speed safely.

The ridgeline of Japan North Alps almost assimilated to the high-cloudy sky. “The wind became stronger at the top of the slope, so I’m worried that lifts doesn’t work.” A Ghanaian from Hyogo talked to us in fluent Japanese.
[Riesen Grand Course]
Actually a wind blew at the top of the slope but the lifts didn’t stop during this interview. The first half of Riesen Grand Course was compacted well and the second had some small moguls. But the moguls were not so hard, so it was good condition to turn and slide.

The area along Kurobishi the 2nd quad lift was compacted widely and really soft, so we could enjoy sliding down. Riesen Slalom Course and Shirakaba Slope were the same conditions and especially in Riesen Slalom Course, there were so many people despite that it was weekday.
