It was cloudy when I saw the sky from the bottom. It was snowing when I took off the gondola and it was also foggy at Usagidaira. It got cold last night and there were about 5 cm of the light fresh snow on the non-groomed area. The groomed snow was hard and the edges were making sound.

Around 8:10 a.m., when I went to the top of the ski area I went through the clouds. “We always enjoy your report. I got flu on the last weekend. I got better and I was really glad to come here on this weekend!” said two people from Nagoya City, Aichi Pref. I saw the beautiful Northern Alps in the blue sky.

I saw the wonderful sea of clouds in this morning. “We always enjoy your report.” said two people from Sendai City. And other visitors were excited with the fantastic view and they took pictures of the landscape with their smartphones and cameras.

At the beginning of Riesen Grat the snow was not corn and firm. From the latter part, the steep slope was hard. The snow at Usagidaira, Panorama, Central and Shirakaba were also firm. From the middle to the bottom of the ski area were under the clouds and dry snow was falling.
