It has been very warm in these days and the snow amount in Nakiyama which is located in the bottom area of Happo is decreasing. The official snow amount is 85 cm deep now and this is 55 cm less than on the same day in the last year. However, the slope was firmly made by both of natural and artificial snow during the top season, so the slope is still in good condition without any bushes. This morning, the corn snow was slushy.

We had a warmer day today than yesterday and we felt hot even just before the ski resort was open because of the strong sunlight. Today, people started riding from the early morning and the slope of Riesen Slalom Course was filled with ski tracks just after 30 minutes.

Riesen Slalom is facing to the east, so the snow was very slushy because of the morning sun. In the morning, my skis ran well and I could make turns as I imagined. I saw some experts moved to Panorama Course and Usagidaira after here.

The groomed slope of Usagidaira was also flat and soft. The bumps along Alpen Quad were nicely melted, so I could try them easily.
