In the 2 years of 2016 and 2017, the official snow amount of the ski resort did not reach 200cm deep, however, it has already got to “365cm”, over 150cm deeper in this season. February starts with the rich and awesome snow. We had the soft sunlight in this morning and there was thin fresh snow on the slope of Usagidaira.

The groomed slopes of Usagidaira, Kurobishi and Skyline Course were nicely firm and in so good condition that I could turn comfortably. A men said to me, “Today, the snow condition is very nice! I feel the slope of Kurobishi much shorter than usual.”

The off-piste areas along Kurobishi No.3 Pair and of URAKURO, Skyline Course were nicely firm. The bumps were not deep, so we could try them without hesitation. A man from Australia and others went there from the early morning.

From the left side of Skyline Course, I could see the beautiful view of mountains of Hakuba. The clouds were hanging over the middle parts of Skyline Course, but the fog broke up from the Rindo Course in Kitaone. The snow was still good even in the bottom parts and I just felt that the slopes of lower Olympic Course Ⅱ and Shirakaba were a little harder.
