Happo-one / △165cm / Snowy & Cloudy2017.Dec.06
We had 2 straight Powdays and today, the amount of the fresh snow reached over 50cm!! It was hardly blowing a wind and the coldest wave in this season brought heavy snowfall in the both of the slopes of Usagidaira and Kurobishi. People made shouts of joy for the light powdery snow in early December and they dropped off one after another.

The low trees were almost completely covered with the snow in the steep slope along Kurobishi No.3 Pair. The groomed slopes along Kurobishi No.2 Quad and of Usagidaira had also 10cm fresh snow on the soft and flat slopes. The fog came and broke again and again, however, today was an ideal day for enjoy riding!

Skyline No.2 Pair was open at 9:30 a.m, late for starting because of the safety check. At the same time, Skyline Course was open and people who enjoyed the upper part skied into there for more powdery snow. Although the central part was nicely soft and in good condition, the ungroomed areas were more crowded.

Along the lift, the fresh snow slopes were spreading out and there was 40-50cm deep snow. The pleasure of making the first track was beyond my words, so I would like to ski there much more. After that, the ski area got busier and almost fresh snow was “sold out” even at around 10:00 a.m.
