It got much colder due to the atmospheric pressure pattern in winter this morning! The trees were covered with rime even in the middle part of the ski area and looked fantastic. And the powdery dry snow was falling quietly.

The middle and upper parts of the ski area were foggy and Riesen Slalom Course looked white from the beginning. It was a little bright because of the weak sunlight coming through thin clouds in the east. Instead, it was hard for me to see the condition of the surface of the snow.

The fog got thicker and thicker in Usagidaira, so people were skiing or snowboarding slowly. It has snowed about 5cm since this morning on both groomed and non-groomed areas. The south part of Usagidaira was in a good condition with that fresh snow on the flat slope.

I felt the slope was getting harder as I was skiing down to the bottom. Though the visibility was better in the middle of Riesen Slalom Course, the condition was rough and difficult to ski because of a lot of snowballs on the slope. However, I saw many experts making beautiful turns repeatedly.
