The blue sky spread out in this morning. A skier from Hyogo Pref. gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!” Today, Early Morning Operation was held in Riesen Slalom and Nakiyama, so many people moved from there to Usagidaira and Kurobishi. Alpen Quad already had a line even just after I got off the first gondola.

The groomed slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad had beautiful corduroy patterns and we had a joy of making the first tracks on the fresh slope. The slope was nicely firm and the edges of skis worked well, so experts skied with high speed turns. In Usagidaira, the beginning part was a little hard, but it was nicely firm generally.

The central part of Skyline Course was groomed and firm well. The ungloomed area along Skyline No.2 Pair was covered with soft bumps, so we could try there easily. The view of the peaks of Hakuba was so beautiful from Kurobishi and Skyline that many people took its photos.

Thanks to the warm sunlight, I hardly felt cold. From Rindo Course which connects Skyline Course and Kitaone Course, I could see Panorama Course and Olympic Course Ⅱ groomed well. Kitaone Course was covered with deep hard bumps and in difficult condition. The slopes of Sakka, Kokusai and Shirakaba were also in good condition.
