It was warm yesterday and it rained a little at the top of the mountain. However, it was cold again this morning and fine snow started to fall at the top pf the mountain under the influence of an atmospheric pressure in which the high pressure area is to the west and the low pressure area is to the east. Due to working of the snow cannon by the day before yesterday, the amount of snow at the lower part of Panorama Course was about 10 to 25 cm.

As I went to the upper part, it was snowing much. There was 1cm thin snowfall on the 5cm snow at the upper part of Panorama Course and Riesen Slalom Course. Visibility was sometimes so bad because of the snow clouds that I could not see the course.

It was windy, however, I didn’t feel cold so much. The larger drops of snow began falling around 8:30 am. The temperature is going down, so the snow cannon may be able to work again, tonight.

The amount of fresh snow at Usagidaira was around 5cm. The snow increased in force before 9:00 am and my wear started to be covered with snow. It began snowing at the lower part and it also looked like snow at Sakka Slope.
