There was almost no wind at the foot as of 7:30a.m., and the snowfall was weak, but the wind and snow were strong before 8:00. All lifts in 47 are decelerating, including the gondola Line-8, which started moving on time. Visitors who got off Line-C (pictured, all foreigners first) slid straight down Route 8 of compacted snow with fresh snow about 20 cm.

Visitors aiming for powder also went to Route 2 and Route 3. In Route 2, about 1/3 of the central area is “compact snow and fresh snow about 20cm”, and both sides are “non-compact snow and fresh snow about 40cm”. Great powder Slope! There was also fluffy fresh snow about 40 cm on the non-compressed snow steep slope (photo) falling from the end of Route 2 to the bottom of Route 3.

A customer from Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture (* the second photo) told us, “The Hakuba ski area is the best!” Hakuba Valley’s season ticket holder from Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture (photo) said, “I’m always watching. Today is the wind. I changed it to 47 because the lifts at other ski resorts seemed to stop again. It’s fun! ”
[Route 7]
This morning, some people stood in the Tree Riding Zone with bibs. Routes 5-7 are slippery conditions with moderately compacted snow and dry fresh snow piled up 10-15cm. In the lower part of Route 1, fresh snow with a little wetness was piled up by 10 to 15 cm in tight compacted snow.
