With the opening of Route 7 yesterday, Hakuba 47 is now ready for all courses! Wet snow fell at the foot of this morning, and light snow fell vigorously in the middle of the ski area and in the upper part with weak winds. The upper part of Route 8 (photo) where fresh snow rides about 10 cm on the compacted snow was in a slippery condition.
[Upper Area of Route 8]
Route 2 is technical, with a large hard bump hidden under fresh snow about 20cm. However, the tension of the visitors was high due to the powder after a long time. The advanced rider went down while aiming at the side of the course with relatively few bumps, while not getting good at bumps.
[Route 2]
On Routes 5 and 6 (photo), where the compacted snow was clean and the fresh snow was riding 5 to 10 cm, I was able to slide comfortably while separating fresh snow. After this, the falling snow was lulled around 9 o’clock.
[Route 6]
Heavy fresh snow is about 10cm below Route 1 in non-compact snow. Although the ground was little rough, When the pool began to enter, I needed leg strength as Mokomoko. Route 7 was flat, non-compact snow, and slipped without bush. As of 9:30, the parking lot was almost full and the gondola had a waiting time of about 10 minutes.
