Soft Cream Course opened in Iimori Slope yesterday from 10 a.m. (※It’s not connected with Toomi Sloep yet.) The sky looked overcast this morning. It was nice without wind both at the upper and lower area, although the air felt chilly.

The west snow was firmly compacted at Soft Cream Course. It was as wide as 1-2 pisten and well-prepared without bushes or exposed part.

The compacted Route 5 (photo) and Route 4 was icy just after they opened, which made the edge control difficult. However, the condition was much better after 30 mins, as the snow on the surface melted. The non-compacted Route6 was rough because of the frozen ski tracks.

There were big ups and downs at the upper non-compacted area of Route1. Some bushes were exposed at the middle and bottom area, although the top area was okay. “It’s our first time here. We checked the snow condition at Goryu&Hakuba47 on Snownavi website before coming.”, four snowboarders from Kanagawa Prefecture said.
