Cortina / △255cm / Sunny2022.Mar.30

22033001_cortinaIt was a warm sunny day with no wind. “We’re from different places, but we hit it off straight away at the No.2 Quad station. We’ll go down together! I’ve been in Cortina for the first time in two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ll stay at Hotel Green Plaza Hakuba”. I saw a skier coming from Shiga (pictured left) and a skier and a snowboarder coming from Chiba.

22033002_cortinaThe No.1 Pair service ended yesterday. No.2 Quad and No.4 Pair will be working until the last day, Apr. 3 (Sun). Snow was “very loose” in the sunlight on Itadaira Course (pictured). My skis ran smoothly, and I enjoyed carving turns.

22033003_cortinaThe compacted granular snow was “very loose” on Ikenota Slope, too, and I sometimes got stuck at the bottom area. “We stayed two nights and this is our last day here. This slope is great for practice. My three-year-old son has improved a lot for the last three days.”, a man coming from Osaka (pictured left) said.

22033004_cortinaThe compacted granular snow was “moderately loose” on Hiedayama Rinkan Course (pictured). “We stayed two nights and we’ll go home today. This is our last run. We already feel hot!”, a snowboarder coming from Kyoto and another coming from Hyogo said. The snow was getting nicely loose and undulating on Hiedayama Course 1.
