The coldness came back and it was snowing with a wind this morning. On the top area of the ski resort, the trees were frosted and made a fantastic view with the fogs. I met a man from Kanagawa and he said, “I always enjoy your reports. This season, I bought the season pass and come skiing to Cortina every week!”
[Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course]
The upper area of Mt. Hieda Course 1 was generally nicely firm and covered with 10cm fresh snow. The groomed slopes of Ipponmatsu Course and lower Mt. Hieda Course 1 were firm, because it got cold again after the warm weather yesterday. However, it was not too hard, so edges of my skis worked well.

There is only a little gap of elevation, but the runs of Tree Area remained soft. There was 15cm fresh snow there as well, so we could enjoy powder riding fully! There were not so much people this morning, so we could ride there again and again.

The slope of Ikenota was widely groomed and nicely firm. It was covered with thin fresh snow and in good condition for cruising. After that, the snow was getting weak and almost stopped at around 9:30 a.m.
