The second round of Spring Discount Season starts today until last day of the season, April 2. The 1-day lift pass prices are as follows; Adult JPY2,000, Child JPY1,200. The operating lifts are No.1, No.2 and No. 4. Large snow flakes were falling at the bottom area and nicely firm corn snow was covered with 2 cm fresh snow at Ipponmatsu Course.

Surprisingly, the trees of the upper part of the ski area were covered frosts! The area were shrouded in the fog and the snow was falling with gentle wind and the view at Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course was marvelous. The run was nicely firm and covered with 5 cm light fresh snow and it was very comfortable to ski.

Itadaira Course was not groomed this morning and 5 cm fresh snow was on irregular ups and downs. The fresh snow was better than I expected and I could enjoy fluffy feeling. The snow got wet as I skied down but I wanted to ski here again and again.

The visitors turn out fast and Ikenota was crowded with families and young people. The groomed run of Ikenota was corn snow and it was flat with 2 cm fresh snow on; I could make turns as I imagined. The snowfall has weakened at 10 a.m. and the sunlight started to shine from break of the clouds.
