There were many clouds at the east sky in the early morning but the blue sky spread out when the lift started to operate at 8:30 a.m. It has become a calm sunny day for three consecutive days. The sunshine was warm and it was comfortable and quiet morning.

The snow surface of the groomed Ipponmatsu Course got melting and nicely soft. My skis were running and edges were working well and Icould make the turn as I imagined. Many experts were warming up here early in the morning.

It was a slow turnout because of a weekday and some young visitors started ski and snowboard around 9 a.m. The widely groomed slope of Ikenota was melted nicely and it was good condition for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

No wind was blowing at the base area but slightly strong wind was blowing at the ridge when I got off No.3 Quad. Rabbit Course was also groomed well and nicely soft and I could ski comfortably.
