A snowboarder from Shizuoka Pref. said (Photo), “I always enjoy your reports! I’ve never expected I could meet you in AKAKAN, Snownavi! This is the first time to see you in the last over 10 years and I am so glad!” It was snowing heavily in a strong north wind this morning.
[Hotel B Course]
The groomed slopes of Hotel B Course (Photo), Hotel C Course and Female National Sport Festival Course were nicely soft and covered with 15-20cm fresh snow. We could enjoy speedy riding on the fresh slopes there and I could hear people making shouts of joy, “So amazing!!”
[Hotel B Course]
In Hotel A Course (Photo), there was even 30-40cm deep fresh snow on the bumpy off-piste firm slope! A girl snowboarder (Left on Photo) who is a girlfriend of a man gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! This is the first time for my girlfriend to try powdery snow and she got stuck soon.” said, “I fall into the snow so many times…. Did you take my picture while I was just stuck in the snow? I’m very embarrassed….”
[Hotel A Course]
Hotel Main Slope and Hotel Beginner Course (Photo) were in a good condition with its nicely soft slope covered with 10cm fresh snow. By the way, Champion No.1 Quad will be closed from Jan. 31 (Mon) to Feb. 3 (Thu), Feb. 7 (Mon) to Feb. 10 (Thu) and Myoko Sky Cable will be closed from Feb. 7 (Mon) to Feb. 10 (Thu) due to the planned closure following the preventive measure in Japan.
