In Tsugaike Nature Park, “MIKKETA!” (Photo), a summer event for kids, is held everyday until Sep. 26 (Sun) (*9:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m, JPY1,300 per person, including a kit & camera rental). You can join this event empty-handed. You will start to explore the nature park after a lecture at the visitor center.

Brothers from Saitama Pref. (Photo) were taking photos of anything they got interested in, such as alpine flowers, remaining snow around Fuketsu, insects and landscape. You can rent a digital camera, so you do not have to worry about making mistakes. After exploring Mizubasho and Watasuge Marsh, they played at Kusugawa River.

You will put 3 favorite photos on the album (Photo) after printing them out at the visitor center. You can also add your comments or pictures on the album book and take it with an original bag as a memorial suvenir.

This early morning, we could see the beautiful sea of clouds from the gondola at around 6:30 a.m. The weather has been changeable since July 23 (Fri) on the mountain and it was sunny this morning in spite of the cloudy weather forecast. In the nature park, Nikkokisuge, Watasuge and Hiougiayame passed their peak season and we could find a lot of Kurumayuri, Onishimotsuke, Ezoshiogama and Ibukitoranoo.
