We had a clear sky this morning. It was nicely cool, 23.5 degrees at 8:40 a.m. when I checked it at Tsugaike Nature Park Visitor Center and the comfortable breeze made me have a bounce in my step to the further area. Along the wooden path in the west side of Ukishima Marsh, Yachitorikabuto and Sarashinashoma were blooming a lot of their flowers.

The white petals of Iwashobu were very impressive in Watasuge and Ukishima (Photo) marshes. By the way, “Treasure Hunting” which gives 4 questions regarding with the attractions of Tsugaike Nature Park to guests is held at “MIKKETA!” (Available for kids under 12 years old, free). The hints are hid even in the gondola and ropeway, so try to find them carefully!

Free guiding program is also available at “MIKKETA!” which helps you to know more seasonal information about the nature park. The experienced guide (Photo) offers a 30-minute tour for the short course around Mizubasho Marsh and 1-hour tour for the long course toward Kusugawa River. There is no limitation of ages, so any guests can join it. Both of tours are held twice a day at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The capacity is the first 20 people only (Booking is not required).

The view and temperature were typical in the summer season at both of Tsugaike Nature Park and along Tsugaike Gondola (Photo). However, the temperature will get down to under 15 degrees after a week usually. Also, the leaves will start to change their colors in the late-Aug. and the good season to enjoy the autumn tints will come from mid-Sep. in Tsugaike Nature Park. Even this amazing green view will entirely change soon along with the summer ends.
