On the first day of the three consecutive holidays, as of 6:30 in the morning, the central parking lot was filled 80%, and the line of buyers from the ticket window at the gondola station reached the road (!). There was a bit muddy on the route to Tenguppara … I stopped and looked back many times and proceeded while looking at the sea of clouds spreading eastward.

Tenguhara’s grass foliage has just begun. On the eastern slope of Hakuba Norikura-dake, the leaves of rowan were conspicuous because there were many rainy days this summer (* Autumn rain front arrived three weeks after the late rainy season on July 29). . Although the temperature was not high, the sun was strong and one long-sleeved shirt was enough.

The snowy valley at the end of the eastern slope was a little remaining, and we were able to reach the summit of Hakuba Norikuradake (altitude, 2469m) without stepping on it. As it was autumn, the rise of the cloud from the direction of Saga was slow, and the deep blue sky continued for a long time.

When I went down slowly to Hakuba Oike, I was able to meet the unique scenery of this time when the slope was yellowish. Two people from Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, responded that they came to climb a day trip to Hakuba Oike. In addition, a man from Machida City, Tokyo, said, “I’m glad that the first climb in a month was blessed with the best weather.

There were many colorful tents in the tent area of Hakuba Oike Sanso. Sanso will be open until 10/13 (Sunday), the remaining month. The autumn leaves from Tsugaike Nature Park to the eastern slope of Hakuba Norikuradake peak from late September to early October.
