The weather of the middle day of 3 day weekend became fine. The temperature was cold like early-winter yesterday’s morning but it became warm this morning. The colour of the leaves got more deeper than a week ago.

The leaves of the trees got lesser and there were many fallen leaves on the boardwalk. The white trunk of Dakekanba (Erman’s birch) are beautiful in this period. The view of the colourful mountain slope and white trees were wonderful.

The autumn tints of Tsugaike Nature Park was last half of the peak. But it was at it best in Yase-one this weekend. Orange and red leaves of Sarasadoudan along the steep stairway and yellow narrow leaves of Karamatsu (Japanese larch) overhead were very beautiful.

The autumn tints of this season were most beautiful in past a few years. And the number of visitors were record highest of this season. At 9 a.m. there were about 80 meters of line in the rope-way base station.

The autumn tints were descending day by day. The trees under the rope-way were at their best and the yellow and orange leaves of Tsuga-no-mori were also beautiful.
