Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy & Sunny2017.Sep.29
At evening on Sep. 27 (Wed), it started to rain until the noon on Sep. 28 (Thu) and then, it was so windy that the gondola stopped the operation in the afternoon. We were afraid that the leaves were blew away by the wind, but the trees had not been damaged and we could enjoy beautiful autumn tints today.

This morning was the coldest in this fall. There were a lot of clouds and it sometimes drizzled with the strong wind. However, Tsugaike Ropeway was so crowded with people because of the weather forecast which said today would be fine.

Some parts of the wooden paths and trails were slippy because of the rain. The autumn tints in Ukishima Marsh are now in the peak!! Mt. Hakuba was behind the clouds, but there were many people taking photos on the view deck.

This year, the tint of Dakekanba is not so good because of many cloudy and rainy days in the summer, but yellow and orange leaves of Kaede were as beautiful as red Nanakamado. After that, the weather got better and it became much warmer.

The trees of Mt. Korenge and Mt. Hakuba Norikura looked not to be damaged by the wind neither. The autumn tints in this year is most beautiful in these several years. The nature park will be most fine in this weekend. The weather is forecast to be good as well, so it must be an ideal day for trekking!
