Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny & Cloudy2017.Sep.05

17090501_tsugaikeIn this early morning, the clear sky typical in the fall spread out over us and the air was so refreshing. However, I saw clouds coming up along the mountains during on the ropeway, so I kept going fast.

17090502_tsugaikeWhen 30 minutes passed after I started to walk, the nature park got foggy and most of the sky was covered with clouds. In each marsh, the leaves of Iwaichou changed its color from green to yellow. Iwashobu also bloomed pink and red flowers after white ones.

17090503_tsugaikeAlong the trail from Ukishima Marsh to Ginmeisui, Mousen-ike Pond, Tenbou Marsh and Yase-one, I saw red seeds and fruits of Akamono and Gozentachibana. Besides, the vivid red seeds of Ookamenoki (Photo) were impressive in the green forest.

17090504_tsugaikeAt the wooden stairway in Yase-one, the wind blowing from the south cooled me down comfortably. When I looked down to the nature park, the marshes started to change the color to yellow gradually among the deep green forest.

17090505_tsugaikeI met 3 people who were reporters of “Randonnee”, an outdoor magazine. Its company is holding a workshop, “Randonnee Mountain College” for 3 months from July in Hakuba. By the way, the first ice was found on Mt. Hakuba (2,932m). The autumn tints will start from mid-September in the mountain ridges and we can see beautiful fall views in Tsugaike Nature Park (1,900-2,000m) from late September to upper October.
