Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy2017.Aug.02
As a staff of the nature park said, “The morning glow was beautiful, but it got overcast soon”, it was cloudy at around 7:00 a.m. I saw many people with big backpacks who seemed to climb up toward Hakuba Oike Big Pond in the first ropeway.

In each marsh, the peak season of flowers has come. Hiougiayame (purple), Kurumayuri (orange) and Miyamakinpuge (yellow) were blooming finely together in Mizubasho Marsh. I also found Onishimotsuke, Yotsubahiyodori and Watasuge.

Around Fuketsu where the snow melted slowly, Kinugasasou bloomed still and the deep red flowers of Benibanaichigo were impressive. It was very cool because the sunlight was blocked off, so I could enjoy trekking comfortably.

Nikkokisuge had passed its peak, but there were still a lot of yellow flowers in Watasuge and Ukishima Marsh. This year, Watasuge is so fine and I saw many white heads of it in both of the marshes.

Karamatsusou was also showing its cute white flowers in the marshes and trails. In Yase-one. Hakusanominaeshi were still good. Hotsutsuji and Yamahahako started to bloom as well.
