Tsugaike Nature Park / Sunny2016.Oct.07
The clear blue sky of Fall was spreading over the mountains. It was very chilly in the early morning and the temperature was 11 degrees at 8:40 a.m. when I got to the summit station of Tsugaike Ropeway. The face in the north part of Mizubasho Marsh was covered with white trunks of birches and only a little trees remained red and yellow.

Autumn tints had passed the peak much earlier than our expectation, but 3-day-long holiday will start from tomorrow, so many people enjoying walking around the nature park. The view point in Watasuge Marsh was very crowded because the view of mountains and marshes were so splendid today.

Around 10:00 a.m. when I got to Yase-one, the mountains went behind the clouds sometimes. There were many people taking photos in Tenbou Marsh as well. The clouds got broken away soon and the mountains showed its ridges clearly until the noon.

The strong sunlight made us feel warm. However, the air was still chilly, so almost people were wearing jackets. The trees and bamboo leaves remained green, but Kuromamenoki turned into red around Mousen-ike Pond.

The trees along the gondola also started change their color into yellow, especially in the upper parts from Shirakaba Quad Lift. The peak season of Autumn tints is coming soon in the lower parts along Tsugaike Ropeway and the gondola.
