Tsugaike Nature Park / Cloudy2016.Sep.24
The trees in the faces of the mountains of Hakuba have been turning into bright red, yellow and orange. I saw many hikers taking photos of the nature park and then, going to the trail toward Hakuba Oike Big Pond. In spite of that the sunlight was blocked off by the clouds, the view was still beautiful.

Especially, the panoramic view from Ukishima Marsh was very impressive. I found the nature park changed its color greatly when I looked back in Yase-one. The trails were slippy with wet fallen leaves because of the rain in the last night.

The beautiful autumn tints in Tenbou Marsh were also worth for coming up. After that, the fog had set in with a cool breeze.

I met a family from Gifu Pref. during going back. They said, “Though it is overcast, the trails are not crowded. We are satisfied with the beautiful views only in Autumn.” The trails were covered with dense fog for a while, but the visibility got better again soon.

The trees started to turned into yellow slightly along the gondola. By the way, “Tsugaike Autumn Tints Festival” will be held until Oct. 2 (Sun.) from today. You can enjoy street stalls of local specialties, a treat of mushroom soup and events.
