I wore my light jacket in the early morning because it was very cool, but the strong sunlight made me hot soon. The first ropeway was so crowded that some people could not get on. The sea of clouds in the east was very beautiful during trekking.

I met a family from Gunma Pref. Now is the best season for mountaineering, so a lot of people were enjoying trekking today. Some parts of the trails were slippy because it was raining yesterday.

On the way to Tenguppara, I found cute seeds of Shiratamanoki (photo), Kuromamenoki and Nanakamado. The crashed seeds of Shiratamanoki smells of Salicylic acid.

In the east face of Mt. Hakuba Norikura, Nanakamado had already started to turn into red earlier than usual. It might be possible to enjoy autumn tints in the Silver Week holidays from Sep. 17 (Sat.).

Today, there were many families and this boy was climbing up with a note in his hand. After that, the clouds gathered and blocked off the sunlight. It got cooler and cooler in the mountain.
