I saw thick clouds hanging over the mountains from the mountain foot, but the blue sky could be seen through the breaks in Tsugaike Nature Park for a while. It was a cool morning with a breeze. In Mizubasho Marsh, more and more Kobaikeisou started to put out buds.

On the way to Huketsu, I found beautiful flowers of Kinugasasou. Now, a lot of summer alpine flowers welcome us, so I did not mind the leaden weather. There was a few Nikkokisuge in Ukishima Marsh, as well.

The guest footfall depends on the weather in the summer season. I hardly met people in the early morning, because the weather was forecast to be cloudy and rainy occasionally. I felt like almost alone in this vast marsh.

Many Watasuge put out the cotton heads along the wooden path in Watasuge and Ukishima Marsh. Some parts of the way to Yase-one from Ukishima were a little slushy.

I got to the observation deck in Yase-one around 10:00 a.m. At that time, the clouds got thicker and thicker. The fog was blown from Northern Alps into the park. However, the temperature did not get high, so I could enjoy trekking comfortably.
