    Rainy Season starts on June 6

    The Meteorological Agency of Japan officially announced that “The rainy season has started in Kanto Koshinetsu Area on June 6 (Mon).” This is 1 day earlier than usual and 8 days earlier than last year. Although the summer season is coming gradually, it snowed on the summit area of Mt. Yarigatake (Altitude 3,180m) on June 6 (Mon).

     

    *The rainy season will usually finish on July 19 in Kanto Koshinetsu Area.
