Nagano Prefecture Cherry Blossom Status

The budding and blooming of cherry blossoms around Nagano Prefecture is progressing in line with　average. Events such as the Shinshu Takato Sakura Matsuri (lasting until the petals have completely fallen), Nighttime Cherry Blossom Viewing at Matsumoto Castle (until 4/15), and the Garyu Koen Sakura Matsuri (until 4/24) are taking place, with measure in place to reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission.
