Sanosaka / ◎170cm / Sunny2021.Feb.06

21020601_sanosakaIt got cold in the morning due to radiative cooling, but the strong sunlight pushed up the temperature and it soon became warm.  It can be said that the start of the visitors is “the earliest after the beginning of the new year”, and as of 9:30, the 2nd parking lot (* upper section along the national highway) and the 4th parking lot (* north side of Castor) are full and the first  1 Parking lot (* lower along the national highway) was also beginning to fill up.

21020602_sanosakaThe flat and wide paradise slope (pictured) was very slippery with moderately tight powder snow.  The paradise downhill was wet snow, but it was also flat and comfortable with the boards running.

Snowboarder slalom practice was held along the first triple.

21020603_sanosakaThe view of Lake Aoki was wonderful from the top of the lake down course, and I could see Mt. Azumaya and Mt. Asama in the distance.  The sunny lake down course has a loose and moist surface.  However, the brakes were not applied and I was able to repeat the turn I wanted.

[Lakedown course]

21020604_sanosakaThere was a cobrain along the 5th pair of the New Paradise slopes.  The moderately sized and well-tightened bump was easy to enter as the surface began to loosen.  The pressured snow burn was also loose and moist, but the board felt slippery.
