Hakuba Iwatake / △90cm / Sunny2020.Mar.21

20032101_iwatakeI met four visitors from Kobe city, who were about to start wearing snowshoes and putting short skis on. “We’re going to Nezuko-no-mori.”, they said. It must be fun and refreshing to ski in the white fresh snow from yesterday through the silent wood!

20032102_iwatakeEast and North Slope will be open during the three-day holiday. The wet fresh snow was well-maintained and smooth in East Slope. I saw many skiers and snowboarders going down fast, leaving beautiful ski and snowboard tracks.

20032103_iwatakeThe sun shone through the clouds and it was warm. I saw people wearing light jackets and hoodies, although there was a strong westerly wind. DC PARK and North Slope opened on time at 9 a.m.

20032104_iwatakeThe television crews came to HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR this morning. “We’ll open the resort as long as we have snow”, a member of the sales department of Hakuba Iwatake Snowfield said. HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR will be open until March 29 (Sun) as scheduled.
