I met four visitors from Kobe city, who were about to start wearing snowshoes and putting short skis on. “We’re going to Nezuko-no-mori.”, they said. It must be fun and refreshing to ski in the white fresh snow from yesterday through the silent wood!

East and North Slope will be open during the three-day holiday. The wet fresh snow was well-maintained and smooth in East Slope. I saw many skiers and snowboarders going down fast, leaving beautiful ski and snowboard tracks.

The sun shone through the clouds and it was warm. I saw people wearing light jackets and hoodies, although there was a strong westerly wind. DC PARK and North Slope opened on time at 9 a.m.

The television crews came to HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR this morning. “We’ll open the resort as long as we have snow”, a member of the sales department of Hakuba Iwatake Snowfield said. HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR will be open until March 29 (Sun) as scheduled.
