Hakuba Iwatake / △125cm / Sunny2020.Mar.02

20030201_iwatakeAt the Iwatake summit, the Buna-no-mori between Skyark and HAKUBA MOUNTAIN HARBOR is opening as a snow play area “Wood Park”. You can play with various sleds, snow striders, trial snowshoes, and tubes. Items are rented free of charge at a patrol hut next to the Gondola Summit Station.
[Wood Park]
20030202_iwatakeThe blue sky spread over the Northern Alps, but the eastern sky was covered with clouds, so the slopes were occasionally light. The southern slope of the compacted snow (picture) is in a loose condition. Soil and bush were scattered in the early to middle of the Sunny Valley course where the snow melting had advanced.
[South]
20030203_iwatakeThe groomed North Slope is also in a condition where the snow is moderately loose. DC PARK had a good approach and landing for all items and was easy to enter. In addition, although it looks like a course dedicated to the park, just sliding is OK.
[North]
20030204_iwatakeAlthough DC PARK was vacant, there were many advanced people and there were many scenes where they made cool makeup. In particular, the appearance of jumping high at the double lane kicker (picture) on the advanced lane left an impression.
