Hakuba Iwatake / △105cm / Snowy2020.Feb.08

20020801_iwatakeFreestyle lessons are now available in Hakuba Iwatake Snowboard School! They started this season, in collaboration with JPS (JAPAN PARK SCHOOL). “Park Debut Lesson” (6,000 yen for 2 hour lesson, 10,000 yen for 4 hour lesson) is great for those who would like to try Snow Park for the first time.

20020802_iwatakeIt was snowing densely. Gezan Course (pictured) and Sunny Valley Course opened at 9:10 a.m, which connected the mountain side and the village side. The firmly groomed snow was covered with 10–12 cm of fresh snow in South Slope and Gezan Course, which was nice.

20020803_iwatakeI skied down Sunny Valley Course carefully as some bushes were exposed. The snow was moderately firm in Paradise Slope. The fresh surface snow was nice, although the slope was undulating. There was a new route in the lower area, which was about 60% wide of the course (pictured).
[Paradise Slope]
20020804_iwatakeThe soft powder snow was groomed, covered with about 12 cm of fresh snow in North Slope (pictured) and East Slope. “We always enjoy your reports! We’re enjoying powder snow on both sides of the course instead of the items in the park. The snow is light and great!”, three snowboarders who live in Hakuba Village said.
