It was snowy and chilly with the strong westerly wind blowing. 3-sen North and View 2 started working late at 9:20 a.m. I enjoyed leaving ski tracks on the white snow as there were few skiers/snowboarders just after the slope opened.
[VIEW D]
The heavy fresh snow was about 10 cm deep in the top part of VIEW D. I found more fresh snow as I skied down and it was about 20 cm on the course side in the lower part. The snow was non-compacted, flat and nice overall. Some snowboarders didn’t seem able to move by themselves on the gentle slope in the middle area (pictured in the first photo).
[VIEW D]
About 10 cm of non-compacted fresh snow was heavy and rough in the top part of South Slope, compared to that in VIEW D. The snow was hard, covered with 5~7 cm of fresh snow in the middle and bottom part. East Slope was in a similar condition in South Slope.

“We look forward to your reports! We’re coming for the test-ride event. I’ll try new K2 models and they’ll try BRASTBLACK models.”, a skier (pictured left) coming from Suwa, Nagano said. The event was held for instructors, tour guides and salespeople.
