It turned from Jan. 23 (Thu) to Jan. 24 (Fri), which was warm like March, and this morning the original cold of January has returned. The trees above the snowfield are stunning hoarfrost. As long as my body was not warm, I felt cold as if I was numb at my fingertips.

Due to the lack of snow on the South, the early stage was limited to only one snow-groomer wide. In the middle to late stages, the width of the groomed snow spread and became slippery. The slope was hard and has an edge then I got on speed.
[South]
The East Slope was also hard, but the edges bit well. There was no bushes , and there is groomed to every corner. It was very good condition. At 8:15 a.m., after opening here, it opened gradually in the order of South, North, and VIEW.

At around 9 a.m., the Sky Arc front began to flourish. By the way, Feb. 2 (Sun) to Feb. 4 (Tue) titled “Three days of thinking about climate change from a snow resort” will be held. Efforts will be made to cover 100% of the power used at Iwatake with renewable energy. Also, Film screening on global climate march and climate change issues talk event (Patagonia x POW JAPAN) will be held.
