Hakuba Norikura / ○80cm / Snowy2019.Mar.31
It was rainy yesterday but it turned to snow this morning around 4 a.m. It was snowing heavily even during the report. There was about 10 cm of wet fresh snow on the groomed corn snow, which was melted soft, in Wakaguri Rinkan Course (shown in the photo) and Wakaguri Chuo Slope. The skis did not run smoothly and I saw many people were sliding straight down.

I had expected it would keep snowing till night as the weather forecast had said, however, the blue sky appeared through the breaks in the clouds for a while. “We always enjoy your reports. We’re glad that we’ve got to see you on the last day! We read your yesterday’s report and we’re coming on one-day trip today!”, a couple coming from Kyoto said.
[Rabbit Course]
Wet fresh snow lied 15-17 cm deep on the groomed Rabbit Course, Highway Course and Kamoshika Course. My ski edges often slipped on the granular snow. In addition, my skis were sometime stuck in the fresh snow and it was difficult to ski down.
[Highway Course]
We took our last photo of this season with the couple from Kyoto and other skiers & snowboarders who were at the slope. We appreciate you reading our reports and having a chat with us during the interview. By the way, it had been predicted to be warm winter with a little snow this year. However, the amount of snow on the last day was announced to be 80 cm this year, which was actually 20 cm more than that of the last year.
