It was a calm cloudy morning. At Alps-Daira, I could see the ridges of the Northern Alps and soft beams of sunlight sometimes came out, as shown in the photo. Grand Prix Course was well-groomed and nicely firm. It was not powder snow, but kept a good quality.

Dynamics Course, Woody Course, Toomi Slope and Powder Snow Course was firm. They were all groomed finely and in good condition to ski, especially in the morning.

“We always enjoy your reports. We often come to Goryu, but this is our first time to meet Snownavi!”, a family from Matsumoto City gave me the watchword. Toomi slope opened early at 6:30 a.m., so it was already very crowded at 8:50 a.m..

“46th Hakuba Goryu Giant Slalom Competition” was held at Cosmo River Course. Several competitions were held in February, including “Hakuba Goryu Student Demo Skiing Competition”, which were held from Feb.12 (Mon) to 14 (Wed), and “Hakuba Goryu Skiing Technical Contest”, which were held on Feb. 18 (Sun). In March, “Iimori Junior Skiing Cross” and “45th Able Hakuba Goryu Salomon Junior Cup” are being held on 18 (Sun) and 30 (Fri), respectively.
